Sarah Larsen is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in the state of Florida, providing therapy at Genesis Counseling’s Boca Raton office. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2024 and works with clients ages 3 and up, offering care across the lifespan.

Sarah especially enjoys working with late adolescents and young adults, supporting individuals as they navigate identity development, academic stress, relationships, and major life transitions. She has a particular passion for working with neurodivergent individuals, including clients on the autism spectrum, and strives to create an affirming, supportive, and strengths-based therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Are you currently accepting new therapy clients?

Yes, we are accepting new therapy clients with most appointments available within a week.

Do you offer telehealth or virtual therapy?

Yes, therapy sessions are available virtually across Florida.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we are in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative, Quest, and Tricare East.  We also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $175 to $225.

What are your therapy goals for clients?

My goal is to collaboratively help clients identify goals that matter to them, strengthen adaptive behaviors through evidence-based skills, and reduce avoidance or ineffective patterns, using reinforcement, mindfulness, and values-guided action to support lasting change.

What do you value the most about therapy?

I value most in the therapeutic process the identification or need for a client to make changes, the initial steps, and then the growth that I see in my clients.
