Alyson Winderbaum earned her Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2025 and brings a warm, collaborative presence to Genesis Counseling’s Delray Beach office. She enjoys working with young adults in their 20s and 30s, while also drawing from experience supporting children, families, and individuals across all ages.
She has worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, substance use concerns, and life transitions.
Alyson values the progress her clients make—whether through small steps or big breakthroughs—and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to grow.

Are you currently accepting new therapy clients?
Yes, we are accepting new therapy clients with most appointments available within a week.
Do you offer telehealth or virtual therapy?
Yes, therapy sessions are available virtually across Florida.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we are in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Aetna, FL Blue (BCBS), Curative, Quest, and Tricare East. We also accepts private pay clients, with session rates ranging from $175 to $225.
What are your therapy goals for clients?
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard and understood. I want clients to know that therapy with me is client-centered and tailored to their unique needs — there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to empower clients by helping them build on their strengths, develop effective coping tools, and move toward meaningful growth.
